Description
The long, green pods are slightly translucent, hinting at a row of peas within. Avoid rubbery pods in favor of crisp, bright green ones. Snow peas are common in Chinese stir-fry. They can be eaten raw alone or in salad.

Ideal Temperature: 33-35 F. Ethylene sensitive. Moderately sensitive to freezing injury. The best quality snow peas are 3 to 3 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide.
