Description
This bulbous vegetable may be white, green or purple. Its greens are edible and taste like spinach or kale. Its flesh is sweet and juicy, a flavor resembling broccoli stems. Avoid kohlrabi bulbs that are greater than 3 inches in diameter. Kohlrabi is great chopped in salad, served as a relish, or accompanied by dip.
