Description
Less spherical than red or green cabbage, the Napa variety is characterized by pale green, elongated leaves and white stems. Napa cabbage is a good foundation for salad. Like mushrooms or tofu, Napa cabbage absorbs the flavors of other food that it is stir-fried, sautéed or boiled with. It is an excellent source of Vitamin C.
